    Conference Speaker Bios:

     Tiffany Cox Stacy is the current Immediate Past President of San Antonio Human Resource Management Association and also the Office Managing Shareholder of the San Antonio office of Ogletree Deakins.  Ms. Stacy is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, she has been named as one of the Best Lawyers in America, and in 2020, she was named Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers.  Ms. Stacy graduated summa cum laude from Texas Tech University and summa cum laude from Texas Tech School of Law.  Ms. Stacy was also recently appointed to the Board of Directors for Endeavors, a San Antonio nonprofit organization.

    Michael James is the founding Chief Human Resources Officer for the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV), joining the organization in January 2015.  Prior to his role with UTRGV, since August 1994, Mike served in a variety of HR specific roles with the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas (UT Southwestern).  For the last 7 years of his tenure with UT Southwestern, Mike served as Assistant Vice President for Human Resources Administration.  Mike has worked exclusively in healthcare and academic healthcare for the entirety of his professional career.  Mike received a Master’s of Administration and Managerial Sciences with a focus in Healthcare Organization Leadership from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2012, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Alabama in 1989. 
    Nicole Englitsch earned her MBA from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, and her MA in Organizational & Human Resources Development from the University of Applied Sciences for Management in Vienna, Austria – her hometown. She is also a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHRi) and serves on the CUPA-HR Lone Star Chapter Board. Nicole brings a variety of international HR experience, including Training & Development, Employee Relations, Employee Onboarding and Engagement, and Recruitment.  She currently serves as an Organizational Development Specialist within the UTRGV Office of Human Resources. Over the last few weeks and months, her focus moved to supporting her institution and peers with the transition to remote work and virtual leadership and helping address COVID-19 leadership challenges.
    Dr. Marco Garza is a Texan and lifelong learner who brings leadership experience in human resources, health care administration, and customer experience strategy. He earned his Ph.D. in Human Resource Development from Texas &M University. He currently serves as a faculty member in the Management Department at UTRGV College of Business Administration & Entrepreneurship where he researches and teaches graduate-level courses in Leadership and Human Resources. Additionally, he serves in the UTRGV Office of Human Resources as the Manager of Organization Development. Previously he served as Vice President of Organizational Effectiveness ARMARK Healthcare and prior to that was Executive Director of Customer Service for T-Mobile-USA, Customer Care Division.
    Rodney Klein graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio and was hired by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission as an Investigator in 1992.  Mr. Klein investigated individual complaints of employment discrimination, along with large class and systemic cases.  Mr. Klein worked as a liaison between the EEOC and various fair employment practice agencies, and he was the San Antonio Office’s Charge Receipt Supervisor, responsible for receiving and processing all incoming discrimination complaints.  Currently, Mr. Klein is the Dallas District’s Outreach and Training Manager.  Mr. Klein speaks to audiences about employment-related matters, the civil rights statutes, and EEOC procedures, and he is a featured speaker at his office’s yearly training seminar for employers.
