SHRM Rio Grande Valley (RGV) is an award-winning affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management with a service footprint for HR (Human Resources) professionals in the Upper Valley of the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas. We are the premiere HR professional organization that serves the needs of Human Resource Management by providing the most essential set of resources available. We offer many workshops, programs, and resources to help advance the profession and enhance our member’s knowledge in the Human Resource field.

SHRM Monthly Meeting Sponsorships

One Gold and/or one Platinum sponsor is selected per each monthly meeting, providing exclusive and reserved access to our audience. The sponsor type is vetted so that there are no competing organizations during the meeting. Attendance averages approximately 40-50 attendees with most attendees having HR decision-making roles in business (e.g., HR Directors, HR Managers).

Annual Conference

Every year, the Chapter conducts a professional development one-day conference for its members and other non-member guests, providing numerous guest speakers and educational experts to help members continue to grow as HR professionals and business leaders. In previous years the average attendance has been approximately 100-125 HR professionals from both the public and private sectors of the lower and upper Rio Grande Valley.

Below are some examples of the sponsorships for our  SHRM RGV Annual Conference, however, as we near the event, the amounts may be subject to change. The most updated information will appear and this message may be removed.

The SHRM RGV McAllen Chapter #390 would like to introduce you to the National SHRM Foundation.  We would like to get you acquainted on how you may assist us in establishing contributions to the mission of this outstanding foundation for the benefit of all Human Resource Practioners.  

​The SHRM Foundation's work includes:

• Innovative academic research grants:  The SHRM Foundation is a leading funder of HR research.  Over the past three years, the SHRM Foundation has awarded more than $1.8 million in grants to fund rigorous, original academic research with practical implications for HR management practice.
• Scholarships:  The SHRM Foundation awards $170,000 annually in education and certification scholarships to professional and student SHRM members, and doctoral students.
• Educational resources:  The SHRM Foundation's Effective Practice Guidelines series makes research findings easily accessible to HR practitioners.  The Foundation has also created a series of educational DVD’s for SHRM chapter programming, staff trainings, and executive education sessions.

The SHRM Foundation is grateful for the generous support of its major donors, the HR Certification Institute and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

To fund its programs, the SHRM Foundation conducts an annual fundraising campaign.  The Foundation recognizes the generous support of the SHRM chapters and state councils, individuals, corporations and others who make its work possible.
