SHRM Rio Grande Valley Chapter 390 Conference Sponsorship Information

SHRM Rio Grande Valley (RGV) is an award-winning affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management with a service footprint for HR (Human Resources) professionals in the Upper Valley of the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas. We are the premiere HR professional organization that serves the needs of Human Resource Management by providing the most essential set of resources available. We offer many workshops, programs, and resources to help advance the profession and enhance our member’s knowledge in the Human Resource field.

Annual Conference

On an annual basis, the Chapter conducts professional development one-day seminars for its membership, providing numerous guest speakers and educational experts to help members continue to grow as HR professionals and business leaders. For 2023, the Annual Conference will be held at the DoubleTree Suites Hotel 1800 S 2nd St, McAllen, TX 78503, and will be from 8:15 am to 5:30 pm with a cocktail hour added after the conference. In previous years the average attendance has been approximately 100 HR professionals from both the public and private sectors of the lower and upper Rio Grande Valley.

The SHRM RGV McAllen Chapter #390 would like to introduce you to the National SHRM Foundation.  We would like to get you acquainted on how you may assist us in establishing contributions to the mission of this outstanding foundation for the benefit of all Human Resource Practioners.  

​The SHRM Foundation's work includes:

• Innovative academic research grants:  The SHRM Foundation is a leading funder of HR research.  Over the past three years, the SHRM Foundation has awarded more than $1.8 million in grants to fund rigorous, original academic research with practical implications for HR management practice.
• Scholarships:  The SHRM Foundation awards $170,000 annually in education and certification scholarships to professional and student SHRM members, and doctoral students.
• Educational resources:  The SHRM Foundation's Effective Practice Guidelines series makes research findings easily accessible to HR practitioners.  The Foundation has also created a series of educational DVD’s for SHRM chapter programming, staff trainings, and executive education sessions.

The SHRM Foundation is grateful for the generous support of its major donors, the HR Certification Institute and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

To fund its programs, the SHRM Foundation conducts an annual fundraising campaign.  The Foundation recognizes the generous support of the SHRM chapters and state councils, individuals, corporations and others who make its work possible.

Annual Gold Sponsor - $500

• Recognized as our ONLY Gold Sponsor for the year and can display a sign that is present at each of our chapter monthly meetings.
• Personal introduction by the Chapter President at every meeting and one (1) 5 minute address to the audience to promote company and products (typically held at the beginning of the year, or as soon as a Gold Sponsor is confirmed).
• One (1) six-foot display table inside of the entrance of the meeting room, where members are checking-in.
• Sponsor is allowed to have flyers placed on the tables at every meeting.
• One (1) complimentary meal at the monthly SHRM Chapter Meeting.

Monthly Meeting Silver Sponsor - $200

Website Homepage Featured Sponsors - $75 per month

Your organization may choose to market your company on SHRM’s RGV Chapter home page. This is the main portal for members and non-members, and attracts hundreds of visitors each month. Organizations may choose to market their company on our special "Featured Sponsors" section, reserved only for those buying this option. This sponsorship allows you to post your logo and insert additional website link. Space is limited to three (3) total sponsors per month.

UTRGV American SHRM Student Chapter Meeting Sponsorship - $60

• Personal introduction and recognition by the Chapter President during the month’s sponsorship.
• Lunch Sponsorship of two (2) student SHRM chapter members.

Prize & Rewards Sponsors - $35.00 minimum value

Door prizes, rewards, and drawings are featured at SHRM RGV Chapter monthly meetings and networking events throughout the year. Donating companies receive recognition onsite at the event and are recognized at the SHRM RGV Chapter monthly meetings.
